Carpet Cleaning in Wake Forest: Serving Mallard Crossing Residents
Mallard Crossing is one of those neighborhoods that feels lived-in in the best way. Families, dogs, kids coming in and out — it’s a real neighborhood. And real neighborhoods have real carpet problems. Muddy paws after rain, juice spills in the playroom, that one mystery stain nobody can explain.
Phoenix Cleaning Solutions has been serving Mallard Crossing and the wider Wake Forest area for years. We show up on time, do the job right, and leave your home smelling clean without that fake chemical scent some companies leave behind. Call us at (919)-362-1054 or head to PhoenixCleaningSolutions.com to book.
Residential Carpet Cleaning
Most Mallard Crossing homes we visit have the same story — carpets that get vacuumed regularly but still look dull, flat, and a little dingy. Vacuuming is great for surface maintenance, but it doesn’t reach the dirt and allergens packed down into the carpet fibers. That’s what hot water extraction does.
We use truck-mounted equipment for most residential carpet cleaning jobs. It’s more powerful than portable units and extracts more water, which means faster drying times. Your carpets are usually ready to walk on in a few hours. We pre-treat spots, clean the full area, and groom the carpet pile before we leave.
Spring and fall tip: These are the busiest times of year for us in Mallard Crossing. If you’re thinking about booking, earlier in the week usually gets you more flexibility on timing.
Oriental and Area Rug Cleaning
Area rugs are tricky. People assume they can be cleaned the same way as wall-to-wall carpet, and that’s not always true. Wool rugs, silk rugs, hand-knotted rugs — these need a lighter touch and specific cleaning methods that won’t damage the fibers or cause colors to bleed.
Before we clean any area rug, we check the fiber type and test for colorfastness. If you’ve got a rug that was expensive, or one that has sentimental value, tell us upfront. We’d rather take extra time and get it right than rush through and cause a problem. Most area rugs clean up beautifully — they just need the right treatment.
Tile and Grout Cleaning
Here’s a question we hear a lot from Mallard Crossing homeowners: “Why does my tile look dirty even though I just mopped?” The answer is almost always the grout. Grout is porous. It absorbs dirt, grease, and grime over time, and no amount of mopping will pull that out. You need pressurized steam cleaning to actually get into the grout lines.
We’ve cleaned tile and grout in kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, and laundry rooms all over Wake Forest. The grout almost always comes out looking lighter and cleaner than homeowners expect. We can apply a protective sealer after cleaning too — it doesn’t make grout maintenance-free, but it slows down how fast things get dirty again.
Hardwood Floor Cleaning
Hardwood floors take a beating in family homes. Foot traffic, pet nails, spills, and the residue left behind by floor cleaners all add up to floors that look dull even when they’re not actually damaged.
Our hardwood floor cleaning removes that built-up film safely, without soaking the wood or stripping the finish. A lot of Mallard Crossing homeowners are surprised at how much better their floors look after a proper cleaning versus a regular mop. If your hardwood is looking worn out, a cleaning is a good first step before you start considering refinishing — which is a bigger job and a bigger expense.
Commercial Carpet Cleaning
We work with offices and small businesses throughout Wake Forest, not just residential homes. If you run a business near Mallard Crossing and your commercial carpets are overdue for cleaning, we can work around your schedule.
Evening and weekend appointments are available for commercial clients. Commercial carpet takes a lot more abuse than residential carpet, and regular cleaning extends its life and keeps your space looking professional. Give us a call to talk through what makes sense for your space and how often you should be scheduling cleanings.

Family business is a blessing. Thanks for the kind words and review

I appreciate the review.

The team at Phoenix Cleaning Solutions did an amazing job cleaning the carpets in our home!
We had a few pet stains on our bedroom carpet that had been there well over a year (mind you, I had already tried to tackle them with various cleaning solutions and my own carpet cleaner with no luck), and the Phoenix team was able to remove everything! The carpets literally look brand new.
The team was also extremely professional and polite. I could not recommend them more!
Thanks so much for the review

I chose Phoenix because it is a family owned business with great reviews! After our experience yesterday, Jim you should be very proud of your employees. I highly recommend this company.

Questions People Actually Ask
My carpet is pretty old. Is it worth cleaning or should I just replace it?
That depends on the condition of the carpet. If the fibers are matted down and won’t spring back, or if there’s visible wear through the backing, replacement probably makes more sense. But if the carpet is structurally sound and just dirty, cleaning can make a huge difference. We’ll give you an honest opinion when we arrive — we’re not going to push a cleaning on carpet that really needs to be replaced.
How do I handle a spill before you get there?
Blot, don’t rub. Rubbing pushes the spill deeper into the fibers and spreads it wider. Use a clean white cloth and blot from the outside of the spill toward the center. For most spills, cold water and blotting is enough to keep things from setting badly until we can get there. Don’t pour cleaning products on it unless you know they’re safe for your carpet type.
Do you work in all parts of Wake Forest?
Yes. We serve Mallard Crossing, Bentley Woods, Durant Trails, Heritage, Traditions, Hasentree, and neighborhoods throughout Wake Forest and nearby communities. If you’re not sure whether we cover your area, just call and ask — we almost certainly do.
